Abemama Island Council Guest House

Situated on the ocean side of Kariatebike Village, where the Island Council Station is located. From the Airport to the guest house is about 30 minutes ride by truck. The guest house enjoys a stunning view of a nearby sea aquarium where tropical fishes can be seen during the day, whether at low or high tide in the channel guest house look onto.
It has 5 kiakia's (local houses with raised platforms) designed for both singles and couple, and one bungalow consisting of five single rooms and one concrete building which has 1double and 5 single rooms plus a share toilet, shower, dinning room and a kitchen equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a stove and utensils. The guest house lights are run by the generator. There are also 4 small Kiakias (local houses with raised platforms ideal for relaxation while enjoying the sea breeze during the day and night time when it is getting hot). Bedding and mosquito net are provided. Meals such as breakfast, lunch and dinner are served but you can also cook your own food. It is advisable to arrange with a clerk prior to arrival on the island to hire transport pick up at the airport. You will need to do the same thing when you return from Abemama.
Island guided tour, truck hire, motorbike hire, boat trip to the islet are available and can be arranged on request with the Clerk.
